Homeware retailer Dunelm said on Monday that it has appointed Clodagh Moriarty - currently the chief retail and technology officer at Sainsbury’s - as chief executive officer with effect from 1 October.
Dunelm slumped on Monday after RBC Capital Markets downgraded shares of the homeware retailer to ‘sector perform’ from ‘outperform’ as it said the valuation is looking more up with events now.
Dunelm revealed on Thursday that non-executive director Ajay Kavan had acquired 2,621 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed home furnishings retailer.
